[Action House 1]

[After having been dumped in Jade's workshop, and getting directions from the colonel himself, the occupants of house 1 might notice a stranger in New Feather clothes passing through. If no one notices or bothers to stop her, she will just walk out the front door in hopes of keeping as much of her dignity intact as possible.

After that B'Elanna goes to the clothing shop, finds her uniform, changes, then seats herself on a bench outside to look over her journal. Which she soon discovers is a communication device.]

I'm looking for tools. Where can I find some?

[Her stomach also decides to take this moment to speak.]

And I hope there's something decent to eat around here.

[She holds up a combadge. She also might be amassing a small collection. Just in case.]

[Something he recognizes, a symbol at least.]

Are you with Starfleet then? And what sort of device is that?

In a manner of speaking. It's a combadge, used for communication.

Well. [He holds up a commlink of his own, a black tube the size of his fingernail.]

These don't work here, I'm afraid. There's no relay system in place.

[Frown.]

I know that.

If I had another combadge you could communicate between them but that's not the point.

Theoretically, you might be able to rewire it to a frequency my commlink could connect to, like a walkie-talkie. But I've never tried it before.

May I ask your name?

That's possible. I would have to take a look.

B'Elanna Torres. Yours?

Temari. You wanted to talk about a few things.

Luke, Luke Skywalker. A pleasure, Ms. Torres.

[He even smiles.]

Are you a science officer like Spock? Or does the color of your uniform mean something different?

[Spock closes off the connection and stands at the front door, waiting for B'Elanna to show up.]

[Once she finishes what she was doing, she does show up. Walking towards the house in uniform with a small tool box she picked up at the item shop.]

Yeah, you said something about knowing what hasn't worked.

I'm an engineer. I take it you're not from our... reality.

[Yet he seemed to know about Starfleet a little. Probably from Spock since it seems he knows him.]

[Well that gets a snort.]

Yeah, those would be great. But from my understandin' not something you can get unless you kiss a bunch of people under god damn poisonous plants.

That's right. I'm from a different reality, and a different galaxy as well.

[Woman with forehead ridges, meet woman with naturally green hair.]

Oh, there are lots of nice things to eat! What kind of food do you like best?

Yeah. A bit. I've been here a few years. Come on; there's a place to sit over by the bridge. It's quiet.

[Spock takes in the uniform.... Was she in command? And he takes in the ridges. He would love to ask more questions about her race and hybrid nature, but unlike his Captain, he had tact.]

Greetings Miss B'Elanna... I must ask the significance of the uniform colour. In my time, gold was always command.

[She took him in as well. Spock certainly didn't look any less Vulcan than Vorik, but she supposed appearances could be deceiving. Not to mention humans and vulcans looked more similar than humans and klingons. His question surprised her a bit but she quickly recalled what she had learned back at the academy.]

Right... In the 24th century red is the color for command in Starfleet and gold is for engineering and security.

[Years... She was left a little speechless at the thought and let Temari lead the way.]

I'd sooner eat the poisonous plants.

Really...

[Not only was this a little mind boggling about how so many people from different realities and galaxies have congregated in the same place but it's quite interesting.]

[Well she certainly doesn't see green hair every day but she's worked with people who have blue skin so it hardly fazes her.]

I've been on a lost ship for over a year so I'm hardly picky.

Yes. Assuming your home galaxy is the same as the crew of the Enterprise. My galaxy has no Earth.
