1st Diagnostic - Action/Video
[Action House 1]
[After having been dumped in Jade's workshop, and getting directions from the colonel himself, the occupants of house 1 might notice a stranger in New Feather clothes passing through. If no one notices or bothers to stop her, she will just walk out the front door in hopes of keeping as much of her dignity intact as possible.
After that B'Elanna goes to the clothing shop, finds her uniform, changes, then seats herself on a bench outside to look over her journal. Which she soon discovers is a communication device.]

I'm looking for tools. Where can I find some?
[Her stomach also decides to take this moment to speak.]
And I hope there's something decent to eat around here.

Maybe it's not such a big thing in your time. He's the son of the Vulcan ambassador and his mom was human, but he grew up on the original Vulcan planet, so he's more Vulcan than human most days - logic and all that jazz.
[ Can you feel his reverence for it? No? Good, because it doesn't exist - or at least exist very often. ]

There aren't two. Vulcan II is their new home. Vulcan I was destroyed by Nero about two years ago.

Well, that answers that. You're from the other me's timeline, just way in the future.
In mine, Nero goes on a revenge bender and implodes Vulcan. Only about 10,000 made it off planet. They've found a new home though and have begun to colonize. Doing pretty well from what I hear.

A Romulan - from your reality. He ended up coming through a wormhole to my reality when a plan to stop their home star from going super nova failed and created a black hole.
Your Spock and Nero go brought through. And he wanted revenge because he thought Spock and the Federation had failed him. So he imploded Vulcan and almost did the same to Earth.

Oh, just Spock and Bones right now. It used to be just me and Spock, but looks like the crew is slowly growing this year.

Excellent, I almost have a full compliment.

Well, no one is ever going to be quite like Scotty.
Let me run it by the guys. I'm sure we'll have room for another one of us in the house.
[ He may not really know her, but she was Star Fleet, which meant she was family. She didn't seem crazed or anything, and he wasn't going to let one of their own remain out in the cold. She could at least warm herself up while she got acclimated. Bones and Spock could be pissed at him later. ]
